Davangere, Mar. 18: Yugadi festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. Students explained about the importance of Yugadi, its traditions. Teacher Smt. Suma gave a speech and highlighted the values of welcoming the new year with positivity, discipline and gratitude. Students performed a cultural dance. Neem and jaggery (a mixture of neem and jaggery) were distributed to all the children and it was said that neem (neem) represents bitterness and challenges, while jaggery (jaggery) represents sweetness and happiness. This tradition teaches us to accept both happiness and sorrow equally in life.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಮಾ. 18: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಗಾದಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಯುಗಾದಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಅದರ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮಾ ಅವರು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿ, ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕತೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬೇವು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಲ್ಲ (ಬೇವು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ) ವಿತರಿಸಿ ಬೇವು (ಬೇವು) ಕಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲ (ಬೆಲ್ಲ) ಸಿಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ದುಃಖ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
