Davangere, Jun. 5: World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5 at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. The students and staff wore green attire.
• The programme began with the principal symbolically watering a sapling with the students of class 1.
• Cultural presentation: Students of classes 7–10 presented an environmental song spreading the message of environmental harmony.
• Students performed a thoughtful mime show on the theme “Nature is God”.
• Smt. Meghana addressed the gathering and spoke about the effects of climate change and the importance of preserving the environment. She urged the students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
• In the oath-taking ceremony conducted under the guidance of Smt. Kavya, the students and staff took a pledge to protect trees, conserve water, reduce plastic and keep the surrounding areas clean.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೂನ್ 5 ರಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಪರಿಸರ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಧರಿಸುವಂತಹ ಹಸಿರು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
• ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಸಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಹಾಕುವ ಮೂಲಕ, 1 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.
• ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ: 7–10 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಪರಿಸರ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
“ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯೇ ದೇವರು” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ಮೈಮ್ ಶೋ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೇಘನಾ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾವ್ಯಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
