Davanagere, Apr. 14: A tribute program was organized respectfully herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere for Nadoja Dr. S. R. Ramaswamy. Prayers were offered on his passing away and the life, achievements and contributions of the great man to the society were remembered. Nadoja Dr. S. R. Ramaswamy was a prominent figure in the Kannada literary world. He spread patriotism and national values to the people through his literature. He played an important role in the growth of the Rashtrotthana Parishath. Simplicity and modesty were the hallmarks of his personality. His passing away has caused an irreparable loss to the Kannada literary field. His works will always inspire people, the principal said. At the end of the program, students and teachers paid their respects by observing a silent prayer.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಏ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡೋಜ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಜೀವನ, ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಾಡೋಜ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಲೋಕದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಾರಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸರಳತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಗರ್ವಿತ್ವವು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತುಂಬಲಾರದ ನಷ್ಟ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಕೃತಿಗಳು ಸದಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮೌನಾಚರಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಗೌರವ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
