Davangere, June 6: In the District Level Environmental Awareness Quiz Competition – 2026 organised as part of World Environment Day celebrations, Ku. Gagan Hiremath and Ku. Ashwin A., a student of Class 9 of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere, participated and achieved excellent results and won the third prize, bringing glory to the school.
Two students were specially honoured in the school prayer meeting. Smt. Pushpa, the coordinator of the school’s matriculation, congratulated the students for their achievements and said that environmental protection is the duty of every citizen. She expressed her appreciation that the students’ concern, awareness and social thinking about the environment have inspired other students.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಜೂ. 6: ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪರಿಸರ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ – 2026 ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕು. ಗಗನ್ ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಎ . ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತೃತೀಯ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಪಡೆದು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ತಂದಿದ್ದು ಇಬ್ಬರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ಪರಿಸರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಇತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
