Davanagere, July 10 -11: The teacher refresher workshop – II for the academic year 2026-27 was held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Davangere.
First session:
• Sri Ranganath, Principal of Hagaribommanahalli School and Administrator of North Zone, spoke inspiringly on the responsibility of teachers and the mission of Rashtrotthana Schools.
• Kumari Kavyashree spoke on language-rich classrooms and
Sri Ranganath Kulkarni gave guidance on improving textbooks, bridging learning gaps and student-centred teaching.
• Teachers of the North Zone shared practical information on question paper preparation.
• Smt. Shwetha of Davangere School spoke on language understanding and overcoming initial difficulties in reading and writing.
• Smt. Nagaratna of Hagaribommanahalli School on evaluation and question paper design.
• Smt. Lalitha Hebbar of R.V.K.-Sattur gave information on the structure and importance of worksheets.
Last session:
• Smt. Shweta and Smt. Renuka gave a demonstration on Jadoo Pitara.
Special session of the Computer Science Department:
• Sri Ramesh on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the lives of students,
• Sri Jitendra Kumar on the importance of coding,
• Smt. Usha on the review of Code Vision textbooks,
• Kumari Nagamma K. on CBSE competency-based assessment
• Smt. Anitha guided on content enrichment activities and continuous assessment.
The school principal, Sri Manjunath, and teachers from the North Zone actively participated in the workshop.
Third day:
Training for teachers of the Kannada and Computer Science Departments on various academic subjects was successfully conducted in five sessions.
First Term of Kannada Department:
• Sri Shashikant N., Head of Kannada Language Department, Dharwad School. He elaborated on the “Blueprint Scheme”. Gave guidance on question paper formation, allocation of marks, types of questions and competency-based assessment according to learning outcomes. Then, teachers prepared and presented model blueprints related to their subjects.
Second period
• Sri Sunil Kumar, Language Head, Kannada Department, Hanagal School, conducted training on “Importance of Listening and Speaking in Language Learning” and introduced activities, communication-based teaching methods and effective practices for the development of language skills.
Third and Fourth Term:
• Smt. Asha and Smt. Lalita Hebbar, a teacher of the Kannada Department of Hagaribommanahalli School, gave guidance on “Steps of teaching in a session” and explained the steps to be followed from the introduction of the lesson to evaluation and revision with examples.
Last Session:
• Sri Ranganath Kulkarni and Smt. Asha, Kannada Subject Department Mentor, gave guidance on the topic “Determining the Format of Language Festival”.
• Sri Ranganath Kulakarni explained the planning of the language festival, the selection of different language activities and ways to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Department of Computer Science
• Worksheets and assessment activities to measure learning outcomes by Smt. Usha
• Future-Ready Classroom by Kumari Soundarya
• Using IoT (Internet of Things) in the classroom by Sri Raghavendra Patil
• Effective class management by Sri Siddhant for 40 minutes
• Sri Jitendra Kumar gave practical information about Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Computer Science
Through this workshop, teachers acquired clear awareness and practical skills on quality question paper formulation, language skills development, effective teaching methods, technology-based teaching, student-centred learning, project-based learning and planning of a language festival at the school level.

2026–27ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ – II ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನ:
ಮೊದಲ ಅವಧಿ:
• ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತರ ವಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಧ್ಯೇಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
• ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕಾವ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ಅವರು ಭಾಷಾ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ತರಗತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಗೂ
ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಅವರು ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ, ಕಲಿಕಾ ಅಂತರ ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಬೋಧನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
• ಉತ್ತರ ವಲಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ತಯಾರಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
• ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಅವರು ಭಾಷಾ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಓದು-ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಕ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳ ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಾಗರತ್ನ ಅವರು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸದ ಕುರಿತು.
• ರಾ.ವಿಕೆ-ಸತ್ತೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಲಿತ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಪತ್ರಗಳ ರಚನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕೊನೆಯ ಅವಧಿ:
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಣುಕಾ ಅವರು ಜಾದೂಯಿ ಪಿಟಾರಾ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾತ್ಯಕ್ಷಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅವಧಿ:
• ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೇಶ್ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯ (AI) ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಕುರಿತು,
• ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು,
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ಅವರು ಕೋಡ್ ವಿಷನ್ ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಕುರಿತು,
• ಕುಮಾರಿ ನಾಗಮ್ಮ ಕೆ. ಅವರು ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್ಇ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಕುರಿತು
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಅವರು ವಿಷಯ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತರ ವಲಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನ:
ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಐದು ಅವಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮೊದಲ ಅವಧಿ:
• ಧಾರವಾಡ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಭಾಷಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಶಿಕಾಂತ್ ಎನ್. ಅವರು “ನೀಲನಕ್ಷೆ (Blueprint) ರೂಪರೇಷೆ” ಕುರಿತು ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಲಿಕಾ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ರಚನೆ, ಅಂಕಗಳ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳ ವಿಧಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಮಾದರಿ ನೀಲನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಎರಡನೇ ಅವಧಿ
• ಹಾನಗಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಭಾಷಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು “ಭಾಷಾ ಕಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿಕೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ” ಕುರಿತು ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಭಾಷಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು, ಸಂವಹನಾಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೂರನೇ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಅವಧಿ:
• ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಲಿತಾ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಅವರು “ಒಂದು ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಬೋಧನಾ ಹಂತಗಳು” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ, ಪಾಠದ ಪರಿಚಯದಿಂದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರಾವಲೋಕನದವರೆಗೆ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಹಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೊನೆಯ ಅವಧಿ
• ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಷಯ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ಅವರು “ಭಾಷಾ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವುದು” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಭಾಷಾ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಯೋಜನೆ, ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಲಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿಕೆ, ಓದುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬರವಣಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗ
• ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ಅವರು ಕಲಿಕಾ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯುವ ವರ್ಕ್ಶೀಟ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು,
ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಅವರು ಭವಿಷ್ಯಸನ್ನದ್ಧ ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿ (Future-Ready Classroom),
• ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ IoT (Internet of Things) ಬಳಕೆ,
• ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ್ ಅವರು 40 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ತರಗತಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ
• ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಜನಾ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆ (Project-Based Learning – PBL) ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ರಚನೆ, ಭಾಷಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಧನೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಯೋಜನಾ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಾ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಯೋಜನಾಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಅರಿವು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
