Davanagere, Sept. 18: Environmental Sustainability Program at the School as part of the 60th Celebration of Rashtraotthana. Sri Jayanna, Secretary of Rashtrotthana schools and administrators of Rashtrotthana Parishat emphasized that environmental protection is a collective responsibility. Parents, teachers and students talked about environmental sustainability to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. He highlighted how small steps like planting basil, reducing waste, conserving water and avoiding plastic can lead to a sustainable future for future generations. Principal Sri Manjunath emphasized that sustainable development means using resources wisely to meet our needs without harming the future. This includes protecting nature, preventing pollution and using renewable energy. Small habits like cutting, recycling and recycling milk packets can also help, he said. Parents and teachers of Matru Bharati actively participated in the program and received Tulsi plants and RP@60 leaflets as a symbol of responsibility to protect Mother Nature.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆ. 18: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ 60 ರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ (ಪರಿಸರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆ) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪರಿಸರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ತುಳಸಿ ನೆಡುವುದು, ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಣ್ಣ ಹಂತಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಸುವುದು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದು ಸೇರಿವೆ. ಹಾಲಿನ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವುದು, ಮರುಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಮರುಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತಹ ಸಣ್ಣ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಸಹ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದರು. ಮಾತೃ ಭಾರತಿಯ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ತುಳಸಿ ಸಸಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು RP@60 ಕರಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
