Davangere, Sept. 20: In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Rashtrotthana at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere, Principal Sri Manjunath inaugurated the ‘Ek Paid Maka Naam’ initiative of Rashtrotthana Parishad. The children were provided with basil plants as a means to educate them about environmental protection. Subsequently, the 60th anniversary of Rashtrotthana Parishat was commemorated with decorations marking this significant milestone. Sri Manjunath emphasized that the responsibility of environmental protection lies with everyone. Parents, teachers, and students engaged in discussions about environmental sustainability, encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly practices in their everyday lives. The act of planting basil was presented as a simple task, where students could plant a basil plant at home with theircparents and upload photos to the website, after which they would receive a certificate.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆ. 20: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ 60 ರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ʼಏಕ್ ಪೇಡ್ ಮಕಾ ನಾಮ್ʼ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಹಂತದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವರೆಗೂ ತುಳಸಿ ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಪಂಚ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ 60 ರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಸಿಂಗರಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪರಿಸರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೆಲಸವಾದಂತ ತುಳಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಡುವುದು, ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ಗೆ ಫೋಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ, ಆಗ ನೀವು ಇದರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದರು.
