Davanagere, Jan. 12: National Youth Day, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere. In her speech, Smt. Shwetha S. explained in detail the life of Swami Vivekananda, his visionary thoughts, and the inspiring messages he gave to the youth. She eloquently described how Vivekananda awakened the spirit of Indian culture, self-confidence, service, and patriotism among young people. She called upon the students to adopt his ideals in their daily lives. Furthermore, she clearly explained the profound meaning behind Vivekananda’s famous clarion call to the youth: “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached.”
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಜ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನವನ್ನಾಗಿ’ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಎಸ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ, ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು, ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ಸೇವಾಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಯುವಜನತೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಯುವ ಜನತೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದೇಶ “ಏಳಿ, ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ , ಗುರಿ ಸಾಧಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಡಿ” ಎಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
