Davangere, Aug. 29: National Sports Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere. Vibha C. H., a student of class 6, explained the importance of National Sports Day and gave comprehensive information about the life and achievements of the “Hockey Wizard” Major Dhyan Chand. Physical Education Teacher Sri Hanumana Gowda spoke about the benefits of sports.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆ. 29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ವಿಭಾ ಸಿ. ಹೆಚ್. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, “ಹಾಕಿ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ” ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ಚಂದ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದಳು. ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಹನುಮನಗೌಡ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
