Davanagere, Dec. 22: National Mathematics Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere as part of the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The students dressed up as Srinivasa Ramanujan, spoke a few sentences about the importance of Mathematics Day and Ramanujan’s achievements and beautifully explained Ramanujan’s Magic Square.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಡಿ. 22: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾನ್ ಗಣಿತಜ್ಞ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗಣಿತ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣ ಧರಿಸಿ, ಗಣಿತ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಕೆಲವು ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ಮಾಯಾ ಚೌಕ (Magic Square) ಕುರಿತು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
