Davangere, Sept. 13: Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Gender Sensitivity’ was organized for school teachers herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra-Davangere. Inaugurating the program under the chairmanship of Vice Principal of the school, Sri Shashidhar Biradar, in his speech, highlighted the importance of gender equality, the need to nurture sensitivity in boys and girls and the important role of teachers in this process. Through engaging activities, schools explained how they could create a more balanced and inclusive environment. Teachers Smt. Veenashree, Smt. Amrita and Smt. Jyoti Rajiv conducted training sessions for the teachers on the following aspects:
• Identifying differences based on gender
• Maintaining equity in the school environment
• To encourage mutual respect, cooperation and empathy among students
• Providing equal opportunities in curriculum and co-curricular activities
Finally, teachers shared their own experiences on the topic. An interactive Q&A period was conducted.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ʼಲಿಂಗ ಸಂವೇದನೆʼ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಫ್ಯಾಕಲ್ಟಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು (FDP) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಶಿಧರ್ ಬಿರಾದಾರ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಹುಡುಗರು ಮತ್ತು ಹುಡುಗಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರ್ಗತ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾಶ್ರೀ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಮೃತ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಿಗೆ ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಅಂಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ತರಬೇತಿ ಅವಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು:
• ಲಿಂಗ ಆಧಾರಿತ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು
• ಶಾಲಾ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಗೌರವ, ಸಹಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವುದು
• ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಪಠ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು, ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೋತ್ತರ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
