Davanagere, Dec. 14: A condolence meeting was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere in the wake of the demise of senior leaders, former ministers and former MLA of Davanagere South constituency, Sri Shamanur Shivashankarappa.On this occasion, Sri Jayanna, Secretary of Rashtrotthana Schools, spoke about the public life of MLA Sri Late Shamanur Shivashankarappa, his invaluable contributions to public service and his ideal personality. He said that his services for the development of the society will always be remembered.Then a minute of silence was observed to pray for the peace of his soul.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಡಿ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು, ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಾಮನೂರು ಶಿವಶಂಕರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ನಿಧನದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ದಿವಂಗತ ಶಾಮನೂರು ಶಿವಶಂಕರಪ್ಪರವರ ಅವರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಜೀವನ, ಜನಸೇವೆಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಸದಾ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಅನಂತರ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ದೊರಕಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷ ಮೌನಾಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು
