Davangere, Aug. 12: Sanskrit Week, Dr Vikram Sarabhai Jayanti and National Librarians Day were celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere.
- Students participated in Shloka recitation, vocabulary activities, quizzes and cultural presentations during Sanskrit Week.
- A student of Class 6, Prajwal A., spoke about the importance of Sanskrit as an ancient language.
- The birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space program, was celebrated. His contributions to space research and scientific development in India were highlighted.
- National Librarians Day was celebrated to honour Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the father of library science in India.
- Prarthana of class 7 spoke about the importance of libraries and encouraged students to develop the habit of reading and use library resources effectively.
- Students presented a song at the event.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ, ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಪಠಣ, ಶಬ್ದಕೋಶ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು, ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- 6 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್. ಎ. ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
- ಭಾರತೀಯ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ರಂಗನಾಥನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲು ʼರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರ ದಿನವನ್ನʼ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಅವರು ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಓದುವ ಹವ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
