Davangere, July 9: The Teachers’ Orientation Programme for the academic year 2026-27 was held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere.
• First session – Sri Jayanna spoke on “Rashtrotthana Parishath’s vision of education” and explained the role of teachers in nation-building and the importance of value-based education.
• Second session – Dr Rohit gave a lecture on children’s concentration, misconceptions about it and effective teaching methods.
• Third session – Dr Vinushree said that good sleep, balanced diet and regular exercise are essential for children’s brain development and learning ability.
• Fourth session – Sri Manjunath explained the need to restore Indian education, culture and national values on the topic “Decolonisation: How and Why?”
• Final Dialogue – Sri Ranganath Kulkarni spoke on the topic “Teaching is not just a job; it is a social responsibility” to make the teachers’ responsibility, values and their role in building the society clear.
• In the Gokulam Teacher Orientation Program, guidance was given on topics like how young children focus, learning through play (Play as Pedagogy), Indian knowledge heritage, holistic development of children and the ideal qualities expected from Gokulam teachers by the nation-building movement. The importance of child-centred, activity-based and value-based teaching was specially emphasised.
• Teachers of Kannada department, teachers of computer department and teachers of Gokulam department of schools in the northern zone of the nation-building movement actively participated in this workshop.

ನಡೆಯಿತು.
• ಮೊದಲ ಅವಧಿ – ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರು “ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
• ಎರಡನೇ ಅವಧಿ – ಡಾ. ರೋಹಿತ್ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಏಕಾಗ್ರತೆ, ಅದರ ಕುರಿತು ಇರುವ ತಪ್ಪು ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.
• ಮೂರನೇ ಅವಧಿ – ಡಾ. ವಿನುಶ್ರೀ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ನಿದ್ರೆ, ಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಆಹಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಮಿತ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮವು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೆದುಳಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಅವಧಿ – ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು “ವಸಾಹತು ಮುಕ್ತೀಕರಣ: ಹೇಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕೆ?” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
• ಅಂತಿಮ ಸಂವಾದ – ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಅವರು “ಬೋಧನೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಉದ್ಯೋಗವಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಒಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮನದಟ್ಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ಗೋಕುಲಂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆಟದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ (Play as Pedagogy), ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪರಂಪರೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋಕುಲಂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಆದರ್ಶ ಗುಣಗಳು ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. • ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ, ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಧನೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ ಉತ್ತರ ವಲಯದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
