Davanagere, Feb. 19-20: Yugatriveni Utsav 2026 (Science, Art and IT) was celebrated at Rashtroththan Vidyakendra – Davanagere.
Day 1:
The dignitaries inaugurated the festival by watering the plants
Under the guidance of Smt. Shaila and Ku. Radhika, students of classes 4 and 5 performed a short play explaining the importance of Ram Setu.
Under the guidance of Ku. Deepa, students of classes 2 and 3 presented a dance. Smt. Soumya delivered an inspiring speech.

AI Expo & Yugatriveni 2026 – Day 2
AI inauguration with robot
An Artificial Intelligence (AI) inauguration was held in the school premises, which included a robot exhibition. Ku. Varsha gave an insightful talk on the uses of Artificial Intelligence in classrooms; highlighting how AI can enhance teaching skills, support children’s learning and improve technological awareness among students. She explained the advantages of AI in modern education and demonstrated how technology can make learning more interactive and effective. The students presented technical and informational segments on key digital topics:
• ChatGPT – Its uses in learning and research
• Scratch – Basic coding and creativity for children
• Computer Virus and Antivirus – Awareness about digital safety
• The students presented an engaging presentation on cyber awareness, cybercrime and online safety, educating everyone on the responsible use of technology.
• The children took a meaningful pledge on the safe and ethical use of digital tools.
The students enthusiastically participated in the interactive, puzzles and quiz sessions conducted by Ku. Varsha and answered questions with confidence.
Closing Ceremony
Dr. D. Kotresha, Chairman, Department of Botany Studies, Davangere, was the chief guest for the closing ceremony of the Yugatriveni festival.
The chief guests and Sri Jayanna, Smt. Bharathi Hegde, all the dignitaries visited various classes and viewed the science models, artistic creations and innovative IT projects of the students. The chief guest appreciated the creativity, effort and scientific attitude of the students and congratulated the participants and the teachers for their excellent work.The students gave a dance performance under the guidance of Smt. Deepa.Addressing the gathering, Sri Shashidar Biradar emphasized on the Raman effect and explained about the science exhibition, encouraging them to explore science, art and IT with curiosity and creativity.Highlights of the festival

• The music department presented a musical performance with instruments and performed the monthly Geeta.

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಫೆ. 19-20: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಗತ್ರಿವೇಣಿ ಉತ್ಸವ 2026 (ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಐಟಿ) ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗಣ್ಯರು ಸಸ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕು. ರಾಧಿಕಾ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 4 ಮತ್ತು 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ರಾಮಸೇತುವಿನ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕುಮಾರಿ ದೀಪಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಮತ್ತು 3ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ರೋಬೋಟ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ AI ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ
ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಬೋಟ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ (AI) ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವರ್ಷಾ ಅವರು ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯ ಉಪಯೋಗಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು; AI ಬೋಧನಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಅರಿವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸುಧಾರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ AI ಯ ಅನುಕೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು:
• ChatGPT – ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಉಪಯೋಗಗಳು
• ಸ್ಕ್ರ್ಯಾಚ್ – ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮೂಲ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ
• ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ವೈರಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಟಿವೈರಸ್ – ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು
• ಸೈಬರ್ ಜಾಗೃತಿ, ಸೈಬರ್ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮತ್ತು ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರು.
• ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪರಿಕರಗಳ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಮತ್ತು ನೈತಿಕ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವರ್ಷಾ ಅವರು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ, ಒಗಟುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಯುಗತ್ರಿವೇಣಿ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಸಮಾರೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಡಿ. ಕೊಟ್ರೇಶ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಸಸ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ವಿಭಾಗ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಇವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಣ್ಣ, ಭಾರತಿ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಣ್ಯರು ವಿವಿಧ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳು, ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನವೀನ ಐಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ದೀಪಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.ಶ್ರೀ ಶಶಿಧರ್ ಬಿರಾದಾರ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ, ರಾಮನ್ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಐಟಿ ಅನ್ನು ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯಿಂದ ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಉತ್ಸವದ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಂಶಗಳು
• ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಐಟಿ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ್ 2026 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು.
• ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿಭಾಗವು ವಾದ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಸಿಕ ಗೀತಾವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು.
• ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
