Davanagere, Feb. 13: Mahashivratri was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere. Pooja was performed to the Shivalinga. The dignitaries offered flowers and chanted Om. The students shared information about the importance of Mahashivratri and the greatness of Shiva. The music department along with the students presented a Shiva bhajan. The little children of the pre-primary department recited Lingashtakam, Stotram, Om Namah Shivaya. Under the guidance of Smt. Pooja, the students of classes 6 and 7 presented a Shiva Tandava dance.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಫೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗಣ್ಯರು ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಓಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿವನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿಭಾಗದವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ಶಿವ ಭಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಲಿಂಗಷ್ಟಕಂ, ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಂ, ಓಂ ನಮಃ ಶಿವಾಯ ಪಠಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂಜಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 6 ಮತ್ತು 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿವತಾಂಡವ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
