Davangere, Jan 14: The Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra in Davangere celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti. Parents and the school teachers initiated the event by performing the Rashi Puja. Music teachers Smt. Shobha and Sri Kantaraj beautifully sang the song “Suggi Bandithu Baravva Ho Thangi.” Students provided information regarding the background, celebration, and cultural significance of the Sankranti festival. Additionally, various cultural programs such as singing and dancing were presented by the students.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಜ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸೇರಿ ರಾಶಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು . ಸಂಗೀತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೋಭಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಂತರಾಜ್ ಅವರು “ಸುಗ್ಗಿ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು ಬಾರವ್ವ ಹೋ ತಂಗಿ” ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಆಚರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಡು ನೃತ್ಯಗಳಂಥ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
