Davangere, Sept. 6: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a special commemoration program and Rath Yatra to honour the 500th birth anniversary of the brave Rani Rani Abbakka at the Abhinava Renuka Mandir premises. On this special occasion, students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere actively participated and dressed up as fearless warriors and patriots who fought bravely against foreign invaders to protect their state. The students were felicitated by dignitaries.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆ. 6: ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಅಭಿನವ ರೇಣುಕಾ ಮಂದಿರ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ ರಾಣಿ ರಾಣಿ ಅಬ್ಬಕ್ಕ ಅವರ 500 ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲು ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ರಥಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ವಿದೇಶಿ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಶೌರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ನಿರ್ಭೀತ ಯೋಧರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತರಂತೆ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
