Davangere, Sept. 5: Teachers Day was celebrated as part of the Jayanti of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. Under the guidance of music teacher Sri Kantaraj, Sattvik K. M. of class 10 sang a Kanakadasa kirtan titled ‘Guruvina Gulamanavare Tanu Doreidanna Mukuti’. Dhanush Gowda of class 10 spoke about Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Children of classes 8 and 9 sang a song on Teachers Day. Girls of classes 8, 9 and 10 danced. Shweta S., the coordinator of the secondary level, spoke about an incident in the life of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and said that teachers play a very important role in the development of our society. Pradeep Guruji, a teacher at Rashtroththan Pre-University College, not only teaches children lessons, but also teaches morality, discipline and a righteous life. He said that the role of teachers in building the future of students is unique. Sri Lokesh, Senior Lecturer, DIET, Davangere, spoke about the importance of teachers in the lives of students and how teachers are role models for students. Just as education is the light in life, we should not forget two people for us to succeed in life – our parents and teachers. Teachers instil knowledge, honesty and morality in us. Teachers are not just school teachers; they are also life teachers. They shape the personality of students. Then he said that Teachers learning should be continuous. Sri Vinayak Ranade, a member of the Governing Body, spoke about the importance and role of teachers. A cultural program was organized by the teachers of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Vidyalaya and Pre-University College. The winning teachers in the sports competition organized by the organization for teachers were given certificates, trophies and mementos.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಸರ್ವಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ರವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಗೀತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಂತರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ್ ಕೆ. ಎಂ. ʼಗುರುವಿನ ಗುಲಾಮನಾಗುವ ತನಕ ದೊರೆಯದಣ್ಣ ಮುಕುತಿʼ ಎಂಬ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದನು. 10 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಧನುಷ್ ಗೌಡ ಡಾ. ಸರ್ವಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. 8 ಮತ್ತು 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. 8, 9 ಮತ್ತು 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ನೃತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಿಕ ಹಂತದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಎಸ್. ಅವರು ಸರ್ವಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಒಂದು ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಬಹು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಗುರೂಜಿ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಪಾಠವನ್ನೇ ಕಲಿಸುವುದಲ್ಲದೇ, ನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಬದುಕು ಕೂಡ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅನನ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಲೋಕೇಶ್, ಹಿರಿಯ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು, ಡಯಟ್, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಬೆಳಕಿನಂತೆ ನಾವು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗೈಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಬಾರದು – ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೈತಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಕೇವಲ ಶಾಲಾ ಪಾಠವನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ಜೀವನ ಪಾಠ ನೀಡುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಲಿಕೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಾಯಕ ರಾನಡೆಯವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ, ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನೆನಪಿನ ಕಾಣಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
