Radhika B. R., Regional Director, CBSE Regional Centre &#8211; Davanagere.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vande Mataram was sung by everyone together.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then Sri Venkatesh presented the guest of honour as a mark of respect and welcome to the dignitaries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Chief Guest hoisted the flag. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everyone sang the national anthem together.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students conducted a march past.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krupa S. of Class 6 Nayak spoke on the importance of Independence Day, the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the responsibilities of young citizens in nation-building.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">College student Greeshma Hegde shared inspiring thoughts on patriotism, national development and the role of youth in shaping the future of India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students presented a diverse cultural programme.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chief Guest Smt.
