Roopa stressed the importance of creating a safe, secure and respectful environment in educational institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The awareness session was led by Smt. Suma, Head of the Hindi Department, explaining the objectives and importance of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act. She highlighted the roles and responsibilities of teachers in ensuring the safety, security and well-being of students and staff within the school premises.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smt. Suma also explained the various forms of abuse and harassment, the importance of identifying and reporting inappropriate behaviour, maintaining professional boundaries and the school\u2019s child protection and grievance redressal procedures. He stressed the need to create a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment where every child and staff member feels protected and
