Davangere, Sept 5: The celebration of Teachers’ Day took place herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere in honour of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday. A floral tribute was paid to the portrait of Dr. Radhakrishnan. Special guests for the event were Smt. Vishnu Kumari, Smt. Pratibha, and Sri Santosh. Students expressed their admiration for Radhakrishnan and showed gratitude to their teachers for imparting knowledge and values, and culminating in a dance performance. Sri Jayanna, the school secretary, highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day. Certificates were awarded to students who excelled in various competitions during the program. Additionally, certificates and trophies were presented to the winners of the sports competition organized for the teachers. Sri Halaswamy, the Kannada language teacher of the school, was felicitated.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5: ಡಾ. ಸರ್ವೆಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಕುಮಾರಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಹಾಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
