Davangere, August 8: Nagara Panchami was celebrated on Shuklapaksha Panchami day of Shravanamasa in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere to mark the beginning of the celebration of the series of festivals of Shravanamasa. At the beginning of the program, Smt. Poornima, Head of the Science Department and Sri Manjunath, Principal performed the pooja.The group song ‘Panchami Habba Baratava’ was melodiously sung along with the band. Talking about the specialness of Panchami festival, Smt. Divyakumari said that every living being is necessary for the balance of nature. She gave a message that the snake population should be protected and not destroyed, so let’s celebrate Nagar Panchami with success.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 8: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಾವಣಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲಪಕ್ಷ ಪಂಚಮಿ ದಿನದಂದು ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶ್ರಾವಣಮಾಸದ ಸಾಲುಸಾಲು ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಪೂಜಾಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.ಕರುಳ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುವ ತವರಿನ ದಾರಿ ಕಾಯುವ ‘ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬ ಬರತಾವ’ ಸಮೂಹ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ವಾದ್ಯವೃಂದದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ದಿವ್ಯಾಕುಮಾರಿಯವರು ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸಮತೋಲನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜೀವಿಯೂ ಅವಶ್ಯಕ. ಹಾವುಗಳ ಸಂಕುಲ ನಾಶಮಾಡದೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಆಚರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ ಪಡೆಯೋಣ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು.
