June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere.
Sri Jayanna (Secretary, RVK), Sri Vinayaka Ranade (Member of SMC), Sri Shambulingappa (Correspondent, RVK) were graced the program.
Sri Manjunath (Principal), Sri Shashidhar Biradar and Smt. Roopa Swami (Vice Principals) were present.
The program started with a prayer. The dignitaries taught the children the importance of environment protection by watering the saplings.
Special guests planted saplings with Grade 1 students. Senior students gave a speech on Environment Day. Children performed a skit depicting the significance of this day. Students prepared 1500 Seed balls in Petal Garden Davanagere.
