Davangere, Dec. 23: Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birth anniversary was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. At the beginning of the program the school students sang a song related to numbers. The children spoke about Srinivas Ramanujan’s achievements in the field of mathematics. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the activities conducted in class 5 to 8.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಡಿ. 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ರವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಂಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರು ಗಣಿತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. 5ರಿಂದ 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
