Davangere, Aug. 7: Rakshabandhan program was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. Sri Krishnath, retired manager, Canara Bank, and former president, Rashtroththan Balaga, Bengaluru, were the chief guests. Students gave an insight into Rakshabandhan. Children performed a short play titled ‘Importance of Rakshabandhan’. Students tied Rakhi to the children of their class. A Rakhi making competition was organized behind the aura. As part of the Rakshabandhan celebration, the Panchakarya-based Kutumba Prabodhini conducted the oath-taking ceremony. Smt. Varada administered the oath:
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆ. 7: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣನಾಥ್, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್‌, ಕೆನರಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌, ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಬಳಗ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನದ ಒಳನೋಟವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ʼಇಂಪಾರ್ಟೆನ್ಸ್‌ ಆಫ್‌ ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನ್‌ʼ ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ರಾಖಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. ರಾಕಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ವಾರದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಪಂಚಕಾರ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಬೋಧಿನಿಯವರು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವರದಾ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
