Davangere, Oct. 30: Deepavali and National Unity Day were celebrated in collaboration with Matrubharathi herein Rashtrothana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. The program started with lamp lighting, flower laying and school prayers. Smt. Shanta Jayanna, Patron of Matru Bharatiya School, PDO Officers spoke and explained in detail about Deepavali festival and about Sardar Vallabha Bai Patel. Students explained the importance of Deepavali festival and National Unity Day. Smt. Varada preached the Pledge of Allegiance to the children as part of the National Unity Day.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಅ. 30: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತೃಭಾರತಿ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕತಾ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಮಾತೃ ಭಾರತಿಯ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪೋಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಂತ ಜಯಣ್ಣನವರು, ಪಿ.ಡಿ.ಒ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ವಲ್ಲಭಬಾಯ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕತಾ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವರದಾ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕತಾ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
