Davangere, August 12: National Library Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere. He spoke about the important role of reading in building the personality of students. He also spoke about the work of Ras Bihari Bose. He also reviewed the work of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆ.12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುವುದರ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಸ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಕೃತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದರು.
