Davanagere, Feb. 25: Mahashivratri festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davanagere. Smt. Shobha and the school children sang the devotional song ‘Kelo Mahadeva’. And the pre-primary children sang the Shiva stuti ‘Brahma Murari…’. Then Smt. Suma gave information about the special features of Mahashivratri festival. Later, Smt. Jyoti Gejjemath and the mothers of Matru Bharati Mandali performed bhajans. Then the students of class 6 and 7 performed a dance to the vachana of Basavanna.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಫೆ. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೋಭ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ʼಕೇಳೋ ಮಹಾದೇವʼ ಎಂಬ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಮುರಾರಿ… ಎಂಬ ಶಿವಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮ ಅವರು ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಮಠ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತೃ ಭಾರತಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಮಾತೆಯರು ಭಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರೆವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ 6 ಮತ್ತು 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ವಚನಕ್ಕೆ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
