Davangere, Aug15: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Davangere and Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya – Davangere jointly celebrated the 78th Independence Day. Dr. H B Shivakumar graced the program. At the start of the program, the dignitaries arrived with a procession of students and the Ghosh Band. The guests hoisted the flag, lit lamps and paid floral tributes to Mother India. Students sang the prayer song ‘Rang Esa Bharo’.Dr. Shivakumar Guruji spoke and relived the memorable moments of India’s freedom struggle and praised Rashtrotthana School for its cultured education and teachers’ care.The secretary of the organization, Sri Jayanna, who was presiding, in his presidential speech told how the freedom fighters fought for freedom.Cultural programs were conducted by the students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra and Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ – ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ 78ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದವು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಎಚ್. ಬಿ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಥಿ-ಗಣ್ಯರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಘೋಷ್ ವೃಂದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ, ಭಾರತಮಾತೆಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಪನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ‘ರಂಗ್ ಏಸಾ ಭರೋ’ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು.ಡಾ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ ಗುರೂಜಿಯವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ರಾಷ್ಟೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಸುಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ಗುರೂಜಿಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಬಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
